At Irvine Therapy Services, we believe that growth happens through connection, curiosity, and meaningful play. While individualized therapy is a powerful way to support children and families, we also know that many skills develop best in shared experiences—through peer connection, movement, creativity, and joyful participation.
Our Programs & Events Hub was created to offer families additional opportunities that complement individualized therapy by emphasizing group connection and real-life social participation. These experiences are designed to support confidence, communication, flexible thinking, and social engagement in a supportive environment where children can feel safe, connected, and successful.
As our community grows, these offerings continue to evolve based on the needs we see, the interests of the children we serve, and the specialized passions and expertise of our therapists. Whether your child is joining a structured program, a special interest club, or a seasonal camp or event, our goal remains the same: to create supportive spaces where children feel empowered to connect, participate, and experience joy.
Below you’ll find our current opportunities organized into three categories. When sessions are available, families can click to learn more, register, and reserve a spot.
A child-centered reading and writing program that blends playful, multisensory learning with confidence-building and peer connection. Pathways supports developing readers and writers through engaging group experiences that promote participation, communication, and joy.
A structured movement-based group designed to support social connection, confidence, and participation through active play and team games. Led by a fitness/PE coach with support from our team, children engage in rotating sports and movement activities while practicing teamwork, sportsmanship, flexible thinking, and peer connection in a supportive environment.
A special interest club where kids can play Minecraft with peers, socialize, collaborate, and build together in a fun and supportive environment.
A food-themed group led by our OT and Speech team that creates natural opportunities for social connection, language development, and sensory-motor growth through shared cooking activities and playful participation.
A themed seasonal camp designed to support connection, play, movement, and participation through hands-on activities, sensory-rich play, and social engagement.
Short-term events that offer children a fun, supported experience in a group setting while families enjoy a break. Themes and dates vary throughout the year.
