For Schools

Irvine Therapy Services partners with schools, educators, administrators, and school-based support teams to strengthen student access, participation, and meaningful engagement in the learning environment. Our work is grounded in a whole-child, strengths-based lens that considers each student’s developmental capacities and foundational needs—especially sensory processing, regulation, sensorimotor skills, communication, and the role of supportive relationships in learning.

We believe that learning is most successful when students feel safe, supported, and connected. Many school challenges that show up as “behavior,” attention difficulties, avoidance, or inconsistent performance are often related to underlying regulation needs, sensory processing differences, communication demands, and the fit between the student and their environment. Our goal is to help teams better understand the “why” beneath what they’re seeing and provide practical, school-relevant strategies that support both students and staff.

We support schools through:

  • Professional Development for Schools, including in-service trainings, hands-on workshops, mentorship, and consultation tailored to your team’s needs
  • Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs) in Occupational Therapy and Speech-Language Pathology (Irvine Therapy Services is a California Non-Public Agency)

We value respectful collaboration with both families and school teams and aim to provide recommendations that are compassionate, functional, and realistic to implement within school settings. If your team is looking for deeper understanding, clear next steps, and supportive collaboration, we’re here to help.
